The Atlanta Constitution
Rev. Walter Lee Shelnutt, of Union City, Ga., died Tuesday morning. He is 
survived by his wife; six daughters, Mrs. H. G. Daniel. Mrs. N J. Brown, Mrs. C. 
A. Smith, Mrs. Hubert Brice, Mrs. Robert L. Williams, Mrs. Marvin Brice; six 
sons, Messrs. Otis, Oliff, Junior, Dorsey, Clarence, and Horace Shelnutt; one 
brother, Mr. D. L. Shelnutt. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 
2 o'clock from the Oak Grove Church of Christ near Wedowee, Ala. Rev. J. A 
Dennis, Rev. J. T. Strickland, and Rev. Bill Spradlin will officiate. Interment, 
churchyard. Bishop & Poe.
