Geraldine Sheppard 40 of Columbus died Tuesday at The Medical Center The funeral 
and burial will be 2 pm today at Union Chapel United Methodist Church Wedowee 
Ala according to Vines Funeral Home Lafayette Mrs. Sheppard was born March 31, 
1952, in Randolph County Ala. She was a member of the Union Chapel United 
Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters Melissa Stephens of Roanoke 
Ala and Stephanie Stephens of Columbus two sons Myro Stephens of Roanoke and 
Clarance Stephens Jr of Woodland AL., four sisters Betty Hunter and Louise Cosby 
both of Lineville Ala, Dorothy Wilber of Columbus and Josephine Morgan of 
Roanoke, six brothers Frank Sheppard of Chattanooga Tenn John H. Sheppard of 
Atlanta Booker T Sheppard of Wedowee, Roy Lee Sheppard of Gadsden, James Edward 
Sheppard of Bowdon Ga and Willie Sheppard of Roanoke and three grandchildren.
