Ealie L Shivers Sr 76 of 12 Wilson Street died Wednesday at his residence The 
funeral will be today at 2 pm at the Northside Baptist Church Manchester with 
burial in the Cedarwood Cemetery Roanoke Ala., Mr. Shivers was born Nov 20, 
1898, in Chambers County Ala son of the late Thomas and Nancy E Shivers. He was 
a retired police officer and member of the Northside Baptist Church. Survivors 
include his wife Mrs. Mildred N Shivers Manchester four daughters Mrs. Henry 
Rickard Adairsville Ga., Mrs. Elbert Evans Clarkston Ga., Mrs. Thomas J Brown 
Perry Ga., and Mrs. James Clark Atlanta, two sons Ealie L. Shivers Jr Plymouth 
Calif, and Rev Marion Shivers Greenville Ga., three sisters Mrs. Era Griffen, 
Mrs. Ernest Tomlin both of Lanett and Mrs. Wilson Phillips Shawnnut Ala, two 
brothers J J Thomas Shivers Portland Mo and Milton Shivers Lanett, twelve 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
