Funeral services for Eugene J. Short, 22, were held Monday at Christiana Baptist 
Church with burial in the church cemetery, Blair Funeral Home directing. The 
University of Alabama student was killed in an automobile accident in Birmingham 
last Saturday. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Short of 
Lineville, and a brother, Newton Short of Birmingham,
