Walter C. Siggers 66 of Langdale died Wednesday in Lanier Memorial Hospital 
Langdale Funeral will be 4 pm today (EST) at Forrester's Chapel Randolph County 
with burial in the church cemetery according to Johnson-Brown Service Funeral 
Home Langdale Mr. Siggers was born July 19, 1910, in Randolph County a son of 
the late Clyde and Frances Cummings Siggers He was a retired employe of Handley 
Manufacturing Co Roanoke Survivors include four daughters Mrs. Cecile Turner and 
Mrs. Frances Clark both of Langdale and Mrs. Jeanette Blackmon and Mrs. Linda 
Mickle both of Roanoke four sons J W Siggers Huguley, Thomas Siggers Wadley, 
James Siggers Roanoke, and W C Siggers Mellow Valley, five sisters Mrs. Berniece 
Hester Gabbettville Ga., Mrs. Ione Green Roanoke, Mrs. Loul Davis Wadley, Mr. 
Willie Mae Melton and Mrs. Loette Hill both of LaGrange Ga., four brothers J C 
Siggers of Virginia, Thomas James and Richard Siggers all of LaGrange 16 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
