Henry Edgar Sikes. ,84, of Wedowee, Rt. 1, died at the residence Sunday 
afternoon following a long illness, Funeral services will be announced later by 
Quattlebaum Funeral Home of Roanoke, Mr. Sikes is survived by his wife Myrtle 
Bolton Sikes of Wedowee Rt. t, 10 sons. Howard, of Wedowee Rt. 1 Charley of 
Roanoke, Rt. 2; Davis of Chattanooga; Coleman, Frank and Garvis of Wedowee, 
Quinton of Tulsa. Okla.; Stanley of Hawaii, Gary of Anniston; and Guy of Gandy, 
Miss., five daughters, Mrs. Bertha Lee Sanders of Roanoke, Rt. 5; Mrs. Jessie 
Littlefield of Roanoke; Mrs. Montana Brooks, of Lanett; Mrs. Aliene Smith of 
Heidelburg, Germany; and Mrs. Katherine Alsobrook of LaGrange, Ga.; three 
brothers, Charlie and Larkin of Wedowee: and Pollie of Roanoke; two sisters. 
Mrs. Ola French of Wedowee; and Mrs. Nevada Garner of Woodland; 30 
grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren.
