The Columbus Ledger
Minnie Bell Simmons of 1010 Peachtree Drive Columbus died Thursday at the Medical 
Center Her age wasn’t given. The funeral was today with burial in Wedowee City 
Cemetery. Mrs. Simmons was born in Randolph County Ala. She belonged to First 
Baptist Church and the Oglethorpe chapter of the Daughters of the American 
Revolution. Survivors include a sister Retha Campbell of Sylacauga Ala a niece 
and two nephews.
