Roanoke Leader
Mr. Joe Smith died last Wednesday after an illness of several months. He was 
buried Friday at Providence Baptist church, of which he was a member. He was 
buried with the beautiful ceremony of the Woodmen of the World. He leaves behind 
him his wife, a number of children and a host of relatives and friends to mourn 
his going.
