Smith, wife of Olen F. Smith. For many years this good woman had been in declining health. She was a patient sufferer, and always thought of others more than of her own suffering. Although not unexpected, her passing was a great shock to her family, relatives and friends. She was laid to rest in the cemetery at Paran by the side of her infant son who died about ten years ago. The funeral was impressive out there in the grove. M. D. Barnett, her pastor, and Rev. W. E. Lockler. Mrs. Frank Hornsby had charge of the music, which was very sweet and comforting to all present. She leaves a husband, Olen F. Smith, one son, Edwin Smith, two brothers, Messrs. T. V. Jones, Wedowee, and H. F. Jones, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Three sisters, Mrs. S. J. Dunn, Wadley, Mrs. O. C. Fincher, Roanoke, and Mrs. C. W. Stitt, of Macon, Ga. Thus has come to its close an unselfish Christian life, and truly was the music appropriate, In the Shadow of His wings there is rest, sweet rest.
