OBITUARIES:

Bessie Wilkins Spier

   (LAFAYETTE) Services for Mrs. J.H. (Bessie Lee Wilkins) Spier, 89, of 
LaFayette, formerly of Valley, were held on Thursday, July 14, from Langdale 
Congregational Christian Church, the Rev. John Schofield officiating.
   Mrs. Spier died Tuesday, July 12, at East Alabama Medical Center in 
Opelika.  She is survived by one sister, Clemence Crowder of LaFayette, and one 
brother, James Wilkins of Wadley.
   Pallbearers were nephews Charles Wilkins, John Wilkins, Lynn Wilkins ins, 
Philip Wilkins, David Wilkins and Mark Wilkins.
   Burial was in Langdale Cemetery with Johnson Brown-Service of Valley in 
charge.
