Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Steed, 78, of Wedowee, Rt. 1, were held today at 2 
p.m., at Morrison's Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Hobart Murphree 
officiating. Burial was in the adjacent cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary 
in charge. She is survived by her husband, Cleve Steed; two sons, three 
daughters, a sister, a brother and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were Earl 
Huddleston, Talmon Cofield, Arthur Bain, Roy Lindley, T. L. McCord and Wilson 
Reaves.
