OBITUARIES:

Flossie F. Stephens

   (ROANOKE) Mrs. Flossie F. Stephens, age 83, of Roanoke died Sunday, Jan. 27, 
1985, in Randolph County Hospital in Roanoke.
   Mrs. Stephens is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Doris Bolt of LaGrange, 
Ga., Mrs. Sarah May of Roanoke, Mrs. Hildred Klaus of Eatontown, New Jersey, 
and Mrs. Jean Davis of Killeen, Texas; two sons, John Stephens of Opelika and 
C. L. Stephens of Huguley; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four 
sisters, Mrs. Orrie Noel and Mrs. Sarah Doss of Route 1 Roanoke, Mrs. Annie Jim 
Greer of Covington, Ga., and Mrs. Audrey Caldwell of Detroit, Michigan.
   Funeral services for Mrs. Stephens were Monday, Jan. 28 at 3 p.m. from 
Quattlebaum's Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ken May officiating.   Burial was in 
the New Hope Christian Church Cemetery.
   Pallbearers were Billy Stephens, Wayne Stephens, Floyd May, Danny Bolt, Roy 
Davis, and Ed Davis.
   Quattlebaum's Brown-Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangments.
