L.C. Harris and the Rev. Alvin Dempsey officiating. Burial was in Center West Cemetery in Delta. Mrs. Stephens died Saturday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Suellen Lee of Montgomery, Mrs. Linda Lander of Chattanooga and Mrs. Frances Ballard of Anniston; a son, Sherril Stephens of Trilacoochee Fla. three sisters, Mrs. Etna Prater of Oxford, Mrs. Ollie Braden of Jemison and Mrs. Lillie Carr of Anniston; a brother, John D. Brooks of Anniston; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Charlie Harris, J.C. Johnson, Jim Young, Sam Ogle, Verbon Brooks and John Allen Johnson.
