Henry Iverson Stewart 69 of LaGrange died Tuesday in City-County Hospital in 
LaGrange Funeral will be 3:30 pm Thursday at Union Baptist Church near Wedowee 
Ala with burial in the church cemetery Mr. Stewart was born Sept 11, 1902 in 
Randolph County Ala a son of the late Willie and Elizabeth McCord Stewart He had 
lived in LaGrange for the past 30 years. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Henry I 
Stewart LaGrange two daughters Mrs. Seth Newsom Jr and Mrs. Ray Woodruff both of 
LaGrange a sister Mrs. Willie Richardson LaGrange three brothers Carl Stewart 
Crescent City Fla, Harmon Stewart Oxford Ala and Vinson Stewart Marietta four 
grandchildren one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
