Henry Iverson Stewart 69 of LaGrange died Tuesday in City-County Hospital in 
LaGrange. Funeral will be 3:30 pm Thursday at Union Baptist Church near Wedowee 
Ala with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Stewart was born Sept 11, 1902, in 
Randolph County Ala a son of the late Willie and Elizabeth McCord Stewart. He had 
lived in LaGrange for the past 30 years. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Henry I 
Stewart LaGrange, two daughters Mrs. Seth Newsom Jr and Mrs. Ray Woodruff both of 
LaGrange, a sister Mrs. Willie Richardson LaGrange, three brothers Carl Stewart 
Crescent City Fla, Harmon Stewart Oxford Ala and Vinson Stewart Marietta, four 
grandchildren one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
