Funeral Services Held for Wedowee War Hero Funeral Services for Pfc. Jesse Edward 
Stitcher of Wedowee, Rt 1, who was killed in action Jan 7, 1945, in Hamm 
Lupumbourg, was held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial was at Valley 
Grove Cemetery in Randolph County. The in body arrived in Roanoke and was taken 
to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Stitcher prior to burial.
