The Columbus Ledger
Albert Strain 91, died Saturday at his home in LaGrange. He was born in the New 
Hope Community in Randolph County Ala, the son of the late Dave and Margaret 
Wilson Strain. He was a farmer and in employe of the Callaway Mills Co in 
LaGrange. Mr. Strain was a member of the Noonday Christan Church in Randolph 
County. Funeral services will be Monday at 4 p.m. from the Noonday Christian 
Church. Survivors include five daughters Mrs. Iris Huie Burlington NC, Mrs. 
Lillie Delamar, Mrs. Minnie Anderson. Mrs. William Honeycutt and Mrs. Wade 
Givson all of LaGrange, four sons William Strain LaGrange, Claxton Strain 
LaGrange, David Strain Wedowee Ala, and Jack Strain Atlanta, four sisters Mrs. 
Ada Traylor LaGrange, Mrs. Roxie Benefield LaGrange, Mrs. Nettie Holder Wedowee, 
and Mrs. Mollie Kirby Villa Rica Ga.
