Rufus A. Sudduth
(Roanoke, RT 4)

Rufus Asbury Sudduth, age 90, Roanoke Rt 4, passed away at his home at 3:10 
Tuesday morning, March 24.

Mr. Sudduth is survived by his wife; three sons, J.W. and Joe Sudduth of 
Roanoke Rt. 4 and Ed Sudduth of Kent, Washington; two daughters, Mrs. Frank 
Mayo of East Tallassee and Miss Mildred Sudduth of Roanoke Rt. 4; 1? 
grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and four great great graandchildren; 
one brother, Hugh Sudduth of Roanoke, one sister, Mrs. Nora Pittman of Roanoke.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at three o'clock from 
the Lebanon Christian Church by the Rev. Earl Powell.  Internment will be in 
the church cemetary, Quattlebaum's directing.

Mr. Sudduth is in site at his home.

Additional Comments:
This is an obit saved by my late father, and apparently comes from March/April 
1959.  The right margin is missing, so I cannot guess the number of 
grandchildren.  This is a verbatim account.  If this violates copyright law, 
please advise.

I have several old obituaries regarding the Sudduth family that I would like 
to submit.  Please advise if I should change format, or if you don't want them.
