A native of Roanoke and a veteran of World War I, he had lived for more than 60 years in the Atlanta area, where he had been associated with a hardware company for over 50 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edith Leathers Sudduth of Stone Mountain; two daughters, Mrs. C.T. Wiley of Stone Mountain and Mrs. J.T. Christian of Decatur, Ga.; two brothers, Roy Sudduth of Roanoke, and N.B. Sudduth of Lakeland, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Effie Bates of Roanoke; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 Thursday morning, July 8, from the Chapel of the A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home of Decatur, Ga. with the Rev. Paul Aiken officiating.
