OBITUARIES:

Elbert Luther Swader

   (LANETT) Elbert Luther Swader, age 65, of Lanett, died Sunday, February 16, 
1986, in West Georgia Medical Center.  A native of LaGrange, he was a retired 
farmer.
   Mr. Swader is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris Swader; one son, Bobby Swader 
of Columbus, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Barker of Valley and Mrs. Sharon 
Maddux of Lanett; five brothers, Henry Swader of West Point, Tommy Swader of 
Milltown, Marion "Bully" Swader of Langdale, James Swader of Welch, and Charlie 
Swader of Langdale; three sisters, Miss Ruby Swader of Welch, Mrs. Thelma 
Jarrell of Odessa, Tex., and Mrs. Myrtle Cole of Milltown; and seven 
grandchildren.
   Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. John Wilder in the chapel of 
Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.  Interment was in Resthaven 
Cemetery.
