Charles Joseph Swann 60 of Marietta Ga died Wednesday in a short illness. Funeral 
will be at 2 pm today at Wedowee Methodist Church with the Rev Elton Lovett 
officiating Burial will be in Wedowee City Cemetery He was born on Jan 7 1907 in 
Randolph County a son of Mrs. J C Swann Wedowee and the late Dr Swann He was an 
electrical engineer with Lockheed in Atlanta and was a member of a Pioneer 
Randolph County family other survivors include his widow Mrs. Ruth Crowder Swann 
formerly of Lanett Ala two brothers Jess Swann Wedowee and Dr William Swann Still 
City Tex., two sisters Mrs. Nancy Griffin Roanoke and Mrs. E. T. Hagler Durham 
NC.
