ALMON passed from this earth into the realms of rest Friday morning [25 June 1915]. The demise occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. J. AWBREY, this city [Roanoke]. The deceased was nearly 80 years of age and had been in feeble health for some time. This good woman was a long-time Christian and s [sic] member of the local Presbyterian church at the time of her death. The remains were carried Saturday to the family burying ground in Heard county [Georgia], where they were given interment in the presence of a company of former friends and neighbors, after appropriate services conducted by Rev. J. W. RUCKER. ---------------------------- CARD OF THANKS ---------------------------- We wish to express our thanks to our neighbors and friends for their kind helpfulness and expressions of sympathy during the sickness and death of our dear mother, Mrs. S.
