He was a retired Methodist minister and chaplain at the Birmingham Veterans Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Noreen Dunn Tatum; a daughter, Miss Marielon Tatum of Spartanburg, S.C.; and a sister, Mrs. Lavelle T. Smith of Atlanta. The funeral service was at Turner Funeral Home, Decatur, Ga. Burial was at the Tatum Cemetery, Milltown, with the Rev. Belon Friday and the Rev. James Duke officiating.
