Anniston Star
Services for Mrs. Maggie Lee Taylor, 97, of Heflin, Rt. 1, were today at 
Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. J. D. Bearden and the Rev. Alvin 
Dempsey officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral 
Home of Wedowee in charge. Mrs. Taylor died Tuesday at the Lineville Geriatrics 
Center after a long illness. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. C. W. Key of 
Heflin; three sons, Willie Taylor of Heflin, Tommy Taylor of Arab and Tillman 
Collier of Anniston; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Taylor 
was a native of Cleburne County, a housewife and a member of the Methodist 
church.
