Services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Thomas, 72, of 1104 Edmondson Drive, Oxford, will be 
Thursday at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Chester Sweeney 
and the Rev. John Skinner officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Methodist 
Church Cemetery in Randolph County. The body. will be at the church one hour 
before services. Mrs. Thomas died today in Anniston Nursing Home after a long 
illness. Survivors include her husband, Edwin Thomas of Oxford; three sisters, 
Mrs. Bessie Bearden of Blue Mountain, Mrs. Eunice Ogle of Oxford and Mrs. Velma 
Slaton of Heflin; two brothers, C.W. Key of Heflin and Wallace Key of Oxford; 
and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be members of the adult Sunday 
school class of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Mrs. Thomas was a native of 
Randolph County and had resided in Calhoun County for the past 54 years. She was 
a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of Randolph County.
