OBITUARIES:

MRS. ALINE HEARD TRAYLOR

   [Woodland]  Mrs. Aline Heard Traylor, age 83, of Woodland, died Thursday, 
June 28, 1984, at Bowden Area Hospital, Bowden, GA, after an extended illness.
   Mrs. Traylor was a lifelong resident of Randolph County, city clerk for the 
Town of Woodland, and a merchant.
   She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ann Traylor McGuire of Georgetown, GA, 
one son Guy Traylor of Woodland; and two grandchildren.
   Funeral services for Mrs. Traylor were held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning.  
Burial was in the church cemetery.
   Pallbearers were Alfred Green, Lowell McManus, Ellis Ray Strain, Harlice 
Daniel, G. W. Traylor, Kermit Traylor, Jr., Ronald Shoemaker, and Buddy 
Holloway.
   Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
[Effie Aline, born Dec 6, 1900, is the daughter of George Washington Heard 
and ‘Frankie’ Viola Hendon Heard.  She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Thomas Jefferson Traylor, in 1960.]
