E.C. Traylor (ZANESVILLE, OHIO) The Rev. E.C. Traylor, 76, of 918 Lindbergh Ave., Zanesville, died Thursday, April 11, 1985, in Bethesda Hospital. A native of Newell, Ala., son of Robert and Rebecca Cofield Traylor, he first came to Zanesville in 1945 and served for 15½ years as pastor of First Christian Church. He returned to Zanesville following his retirement. His ministry included pastorates and interim pastorates at churches in Ohio and Missouri. His first wife, Mrs. Anna Lucille Traylor, died in 1952. Surviving are his second wife, Mrs. Naomi Garrett Crooks Traylor; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Grant of Wedowee, Ala.; and three brothers, Robert Traylor and Byrd Traylor, both of Wedowee, and Leo Traylor of St. Petersburg, Fla. Bolin Funeral Home of Zanesville was in charge of arrangements.
