Emmett Traylor died of a heart attack Sunday in Wedowee Hospital. Survivors 
include the widow, Mrs. Lila Johnson Traylor of Route 1, Woodland; a son, Jerry 
Traylor, Carrollton, Ga.; four grandchildren; his mother Mrs. Lola Traylor, St. 
Augustine, Fla a brother, Dr. Stell Traylor, Barnsville, Ga.; and two sisters, 
Mrs. Eula Mae Wilson, Of Wedowee and Mrs. Ila Lee, St. Augustine, Fla.  Funeral 
services were held today at 2 p.m. from Zion Baptist Church near Woodland with 
Dr. E. A. Wood and the Rev. Gus Young officiating with burial in the churchyard 
cemetery. Quattlebaum's Brown - Service Funeral Home of Roanoke was in charge of 
arrangements. Mr. Traylor, the son of the prominent late Dr. George Traylor of 
the Lamar community was a member of Providence Baptist Church, a Mason, Woodman, 
a farmer and long resident of Randolph County.
