Anniston Star
Barbara Sue Triplet 13-months old, of Oxford. Rt. 6, died at Memorial Hospital 
early Sunday. The child was reported burned June 14 when a container of hot soup 
accidentally spilled on her. She had been under treatment at the hospital ever 
since. Funeral services were to be held at 2:30 this afternoon from Union Hill 
Methodist Church in Randolph County. The Rev. Dave Craft officiated, and burial 
was in the adjoining cemetery, Jones Funeral Home in charge. Surviving are the 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Triplett, Oxford, Rt. 6, and the grandparents. Mr. 
and Mrs. Noah Triplett and Mr. and Mrs. Emerald Wetzell, all of Springfield, Ore.
