Anniston Star
Harvey Ewell Turley. 60, of K-3 Glenn Addie Apts. Anniston, died Monday in 
Bowden, Ga after a short illness. Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim 
Rest Baptist Church. Randolph County, with the Rev. Cecil Davis, the Rev. Monroe 
Wiggins and the Rev. D. A. Deese Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining 
cemetery with Dryden Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. 
Leler Turley; three daughters. Mrs. Louise Dendrick of Franklin, Ga. Mrs. Ruth 
Boner of Heflin and Mrs. May Deese of Anniston; three brothers, Jessie Turley of 
Anniston. Eli Turley of Heflin and Howard Turley of Oxford and ten grandchildren. 
Mr. Turley was a native of Cleburne County and lived in Anniston eight years.
