Roanoke Leader
Willis D. Vinson, 27, of Omaha, at died in a local hospital last night. He 
underwent a major operation Sunday. The widow, Mrs. Emma Vinson, two sons, Willis 
W. and Sherman Leon, three daughters, Edna Lois, Dorothy Mae, and Arlis Fay, the 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mylas Vinson, of the Broughton community, one grandfather, 
Doc Vinson, and one grandmother, Mrs. Anna Carter, survive. Funeral and burial 
will be at New Hope West Thursday afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. J. C. Hunt 
in charge and Hunter directing.
