Services for Mrs. Era Waldrop, 75, of Lineville, Rt. 1, will be today at 2 p.m. 
at Dingler's Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Charlie Bolt and the Rev. 
Steve Robertson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with 
Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. The family will receive friends 
at the funeral home until one hour before service. Mrs. Waldrop died Friday at 
the Clay County Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Jessie Waldrop of 
Lineville; a daughter, Mrs. Ellaree McCormick of Dayton, Ohio; two sons, Doris 
Waldrop of Lineville and Jerry M. Waldrop of Carrollton, Ga; two sisters, Mrs. 
Cora McDonald and Mrs. Vera Gregg, both of Lineville; two brothers, Grady East 
of Ashland and Claudie East of Birmingham; 12 grandchildren; and six 
greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Waldrop was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph 
County. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Church of Christ. She was 
preceded in death by a son, Leland Waldrop.
