Olie W. Ward 56 died Thursday morning at City-County Hospital here after a long 
illness. Funeral will be at 4 pm (CST) today at Campground Methodist Church 
Graham Ala with the Rev Odie Gregg officiating. Burial will be in the church 
cemetery Mr. Ward was born on Sept 10, 1911, in Randolph County Ala a son of Mr. 
and Mrs. Thomas W. Ward Graham. He had lived here eight years and was a mill 
employe Survivors include his widow Mrs. Clara Holmes Ward LaGrange, a daughter 
Mrs. Jeanette Jeter LaGrange, four sons Larry, Joe and Terry Ward all of 
LaGrange and Dwane Ward Rootville, four sisters Mrs. Faye Stewart and Miss Flora 
Ward both of LaGrange, Mrs. Nora Sullivan Carrollton and Miss May Ward Atlanta, 
four brothers Charlie Ward Carrollton, Woody and Celvin Ward both of Graham and 
Melvin Ward Red Oak.
