"Archie" Waters, 58 of Lineville Rt. 1, died in a Tuscaloosa Hospital Friday after a long illness. He was employed an Anniston Manufacturing Company until his illness. A former resident of Randolph County he was a farmer before coming to the Anniston job. Funeral services were to be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at Union Hill Methodist Church in Randolph County, with the Revs. Dave Craft and Grady Bishop officiating. Burial will be in the adjacent cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. W.E. Smith, Mrs. W.M. Douglas and Mrs. Roy Hill, all of Kermit Texas, two son, Alvoh Waters of Kermit and Clydene Waters Lineville, Rt. 1. two brothers, Thermon of Anniston, and Ivy Waters Delta, Rt. 2, five sisters, Mrs. Kinsmon Brown Wedowee, Rt 1, Mrs. Mallory Gaston Wedowee, Mrs. James Cross Winfield, Mrs. Frank Roberts, Los Angeles Calif., and Mrs. Wylie Lindley Anniston, two stepbrothers, three stepsisters and several grandchildren.
