Funeral services for Dolen Waters. 73. of Wedowee. Rt. 1. were held Sunday at 
2:00 p. m. at the Valley Grove Church with the Rev. J. P Bean, the Rev. O. S. 
Sheets, and the Rev. Dave Craft officiating. Burial was in the adjoining 
Cemetery, Usrey of Talladega in charge. Mr. Waters died Saturday at his 
residence. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Etta Waters of Wedowee, Rt. 1; four 
sons, Irvin, Silvey, and Leford Waters, all of Wedowee. Rt. 1., C. B. Waters of 
Birmingham: three daughters. Mrs. E. J. Perkins, Mrs. Z. G. Gribble, both of 
Anniston and Mrs. Howard Steed of Wedowee, Rt. 1; 15 grandchildren and one great 
grandchild. Pallbearers were: Levert Lipham, Clifford Perkins, Darson Waters, 
John W. Martin, Floyd Fowler, and Charlie Bailey.
