Anniston Star
Graveside services for Earl Watson, 63, of New Orleans, formerly of Anniston, 
were to be today at 11 a.m. at Corinth Cemetery in Randolph County with the Rev, 
J. D. Bearden officiating. Gray-Brown Service Mortuary was to be in charge. Mr. 
Watson died Monday in New Orleans after a short illness. Survivors include a son, 
John R. Watson of New Orleans; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Armstrong of Birmingham and 
Mrs. Vera Seals of Anniston; a brother, Fred M. Watson of Wedowee. Mr. Watson was 
a former resident of Anniston but had lived in New Orleans for 15 years.

Born Aug 4, 1914. 
Son of James M. Watson & Mary Hare.
He married Novella Key daughter of Welk Key & Emma Cash.
