The Atlanta Constitution
Mrs. Mattie B. West of 674 Ora Ave, Atlanta, passed Suddenly June 17, 1984. She 
is survived by husband, Mr. Coyal West, three daughters, Pamela, Bridgett and 
Autosia West, adopted son, Cedrick Johnson all of Atlanta, parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Elijah Pierson of Wedowee, Al., three brothers, Robert, Edward and Willard 
Pierson all of Wedowee, Al., other relatives and friends. Funeral services will 
be held Tuesday, June 19 at 1 o'clock p.m. (CST) from the Shiloh Baptist Church, 
Wedowee, AL, Rev. C.B. Robinson will officiate. Remains in state at the church at 
12 noon. Interment, Church Cemetery.
