Roanoke Leader
After a very long illness Mr. T. B. Whaley died at his home here Saturday. Mr. 
Whaley was nearly 76 years old and had spent almost his entire life fa this 
section. Besides a host of friends, he is survived by a sister, wife and nine 
children, all were present except two children, who live in North Alabama. 
Interment was at Mt Pleasant church Sunday afternoon. Funeral service was 
conducted by Revs. C. W. Holloway and John Wilder.
