Anniston Star
Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Lou Whaley, age 74, died at the home of her son, 
J. A. Whaley, at 1334 Mulberry Avenue Monday afternoon, were held from the 
residence at 9:30 o'clock this morning. Rev. L. N. Claxton officiated, and 
interment was in Wedowee Cemetery, with Brown in charge. Mrs. Whaley is survived 
by three sons J. A. of Anniston; L C., of Lineville and C. P., of Malone; three 
daughters, Mrs. J. M. Nolan, of Newell, and Mrs. Jesse Dewberry and Mrs. Fannie 
Dewberry, of Newell, and a sister, Mrs. Fannie Price, of Heflin.
