Anniston Star
Ivey C. Whaley 78, of 629 Mulberry, died at his residence at midnight last night 
after a long illness. Funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 
o'clock at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Randolph County with burial in the 
adjoining cemetery. The Rev. E. B. Walker win officiate. Survivors include four 
sons, Dee of Jay, Fla., and Odle, Ezra and William, all of Anniston, one 
daughter, Mrs. Ida Huckaba. Anniston; one stepdaughter, grandchildren. Grandsons 
will be pallbearers. Mr. Whaley had lived la Anniston for ten years, having been 
a former resident or Randolph County. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
