Fred Wright Whaley 59 of Lanett died Sunday at West Georgia Medical Center in 
LaGrange Ga Funeral will be 3 pm today at Huguley Congregational Christian Church 
with burial in Wedowee City Cemetery Wedowee. Mr. Whaley was born April 6, 1917, 
in Randolph County son of Warren and Mattie Lee Whaley. Survivors include his 
wife Mrs. Annie L Whaley a daughter Mrs. Letha Fay Henry Barnesville Ga brothers 
Cleveland Whaley Graham Sheff Whaley Montgomery and Pascal Whaley Palisade Colo a 
sister Mrs. Erisce Smith Gadsden, a stepsister Mrs. Mary Luker Huguley 
stepbrothers Harless Benson Wellington and Hubert Benson Lineville and two 
grandchildren.
