Funeral services for Roy Thomas White 62, of Wedowee, Rt. 1, were held Thursday 
afternoon from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Revs. Winston Cummings, 
McKinley Holloway and Wallace Reaves officiating. Burial was in the church 
cemetery with Quattlebaum's Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge. Mr. White is 
survived by the widow, Mrs. Lula Gray White; two sons, R. D. White of Roanoke and 
Dorsey White of Wedowee; one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Wortham of Wedowee; four 
sisters. Mrs. Elsie Harmon, Mrs. Lula Florence, Miss Margie White, and Miss 
Hattie White, all of Wedowee: and eight grandchildren.
