Mrs. Joe Wilder 79 811 Grant St died at 12:30 pm Friday at her residence after 
an illness of several months Funeral will be held at 3 pm (EST) Sunday at 
Liberty Grove Congregational Methodist Church with the Revs Oscar Sheets, Billy 
Howell and Charles Ridgeway officiating. Her body will remain at her home until 
1:30 pm Sunday when the funeral cortege will leave for the church Burial will be 
in the church cemetery Survivors include six daughters Mrs. Etha Yarbrough, Mrs. 
Leslie Cosper and Mrs. Marcelle Fincher all of LaGrange, Mrs. Hermis Huey 
Wedowee Ala, Mrs. Naomi Canady Twin City and Mrs. Letha Haynes Roanoke Ala, 
three sons Wilson Wilder Roanoke, J C Wilder Lafayette and Calvin Wilder 
LaGrange four sisters Mrs. Lizzie Benefield and Mrs. Bertha Benefield both of 
Roanoke, Mrs. Cumie Grant Wedowee and Mrs. Annie Johnson Ft Pierce Fla, three 
brothers Clint Wilson Wedowee Doug Wilson, Woodland Ala, and Leon Wilson Ft 
Pierce Fla., 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
