Williamson is dead after a lingering illness. After lingering for more than a month with typhoid fever, Mr. J.R. Williamson, who lives west of Lineville about two miles, passed to his reward early Monday morning. He had lived in Clay County, for a little more than ten years, coming here from Randolph. He was fifty-three years of age, and besides the widow, three sons and one daughter survive, funeral arrangements are being made and interment will be at Valley Grove church in his native county on Thursday a.m. Mr. Williamson has lived a quiet and peaceful life and was a good law-abiding citizen of this community. He was an affectionate, kindly man, and loved his family supremely. He has a host of relatives in his home county, and many friend here, who will learn with great sorrow of his untimely death.
