Roanoke Leader
Albert Elisha Williamson, age 72, of Newell, Rt. 1, died at the residence on 
Monday, Aug. 1. Mr. Williamson was a farmer. Survivors include the wife, Mrs. A. 
E. Williamson; three sons, Harmon, of Pottersville, Ala., and Leonard and Jim 
Williamson, of Newell; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held from 
the Valley Grove Church on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at 3 p. m., with the Rev. Dave Craft 
officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, with Quattlebaum's Funeral 
Home in charge. Mrs. L. J. Wilhite, of Vinemont, Ala., is spending this week here 
with her daughter, Mrs. Edgar Stevenson, and family.
