Williams, 80, of Wedowee, Star Route, died Wednesday at 11:15 a.m., in the Wedowee Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., at the Wedowee Church of Christ with James Parker and Zeke Murphy officiating. Burial will be in the adjacent cemetery with Quattlebaum Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Williams; six sons, Bonnie of Bear Creek, Cloyce of LaGrange, Ga., Archie of Orlando, Fla., Dorsey, Denzil and Fred, all of Anniston; two daughters, Mrs. Annie Laurie Wallace of Opelika and Mrs. Patsy Rhodes of Wedowee, 30 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren: one brother, Joe Williams of Montgomery, and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Crenshaw of Roanoke. Mr. Williams was a member the Wedowee Church of Christ. A lifelong resident of Randolph County, he was a retired farmer and businessman.
