Anniston Star
Lonnie W. Wilson, a former printer for The Anniston Star, died Monday at Wedowee 
Hospital following a short illness. Mr. Wilson died at noon Monday at the age of 
57. He began working for the Star in January of 1952 and was employed there for 
about ten years before returning to Randolph County. At the time of his death, 
he lived on a farm which he operated on Wedowee, Rt. 2. Funeral services for Mr. 
Wilson will be conducted at 3 p.m. today from the Napoleon Church of Christ here 
with burial in the church cemetery. Quattlebaum s Brown - Service Funeral Home 
of Roanoke is in charge of arrangements. Arrangements were partially complete at 
press time. Mr. Wilson is survived by the widow, Mrs. Cassie Wilson; his 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Wilson of Wedowee, Rt. 2; five brothers Amos Wilson 
of Huntsville, Tuerman Wilson of Waterloo, Huey Wilson of Wedowee, Rt. 2, 
Lynwood Wilson of Columbus, Ga., and Joe Wilson of Tuskeegee and two sisters, 
Mrs. Elsie West of Roanoke and Mrs. Bernice Burson of Jonesboro, Ga.
