This community was saddened Thursday, June 13, by the news of the tragic death of 
Mrs. Clarence Winding, formerly known as Miss. Alta Thrasher, who lived near 
Ephesus church in Heard County, Ga. Mrs. Winding's body was brought to this 
community and funeral services were conducted by Revs. J. P. Bean, Jim Vowell and 
A. A. Williamson. 

Additional Comments:
Daughter of John D. Thrasher & Gertrude Starnes.
She was buried at Valley Grove Cemetery Randolph County.
