The deceased was 72 years of age. He was born April 4, 1880. He is survived by two sons: Sam of Graham and John of Opelika; five daughters: Mrs. Lulu Reaves and Mrs. Lena McKeen, both of Wedowee, Mrs. Irene McManus of Roanoke, Mrs. Annie McKeen of LaGrange, and Mrs. Clara Kerr of Auburn; twenty grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren; two brothers D. H. and Wyatt Wright of Wedowee; three sisters: Mrs. Annie Earnest of Mableton, Ga. Mrs. Aurie Wortham of Wedowee and Mrs. Vera Perry of Fyffe; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Wright were held at Levins Baptist Church on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The Rev. John Wilder was the officiating minister. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery, Quattlebaum's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were six of the grandsons: Melvin and Edward Reaves.
