She had started to attend church services when a storm came up and she stopped at a neighbor's house. While she was standing on the porch leaning against a post the stroke came that caused her instant death. She is survived by her husband, a baby, and her parents. Funeral services and burial were at Big Springs Sunday afternoon. Additional Comments: Mrs. Gordon Yarbrough (Lois G. Brown) was born 1 June 1919 and died 3 September 1938 in Randolph county, Alabama. Lois Brown's parents were Alonzo "Lon" Jackson and Doschie E. Brown Brown. Brothers and Sisters of Lois Brown are: Mae Turner, Ellic Brown, Hattie L. Alsabrook, Clarence L. Brown, Liddie A. Sanders, Alice Buchanan, Allie Brown and Marvin Jackson Brown.
